Pilates
Pilates is a type of exercise that targets the deep postural muscles of the back and abdomen to build on your body’s core strength and improve body awareness.
Developed by Joseph Pilates in the 1920’s, Pilates is still widely used today in both the fitness and rehabilitation industry. Many people feel the benefit of Pilates for the management of back pain, postural correction, flexibility, general toning and feelings of wellbeing.
You can attend for a one to one session in the clinic or book a block of classes. All of our classes are taught by chartered physiotherapists who have undergone training with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI). We have classes at beginner, intermediate and advanced level taught at Curl Aberdeen, Woodend. We also have a men’s class for golfers.
Please contact the clinic for more information about Pilates or to book a session
