Susan Spence

Susan Spence

Susie graduated in Glasgow in 1987 and started her career in the NHS before moving to Aberdeen Physiotherapy in 2006. She has also worked within occupational health dealing with work related injuries and is fully trained in workstation assessment. She is experienced in treating sports injuries having worked with various sports teams including the Scottish badminton team and has recently completed a course on running injuries. Susie has a special interest in treating spinal problems and has a post graduate certificate in spinal manual therapy. She is trained in Acupuncture, is a fully qualified APPI pilates instructor and has recently completed courses in pain management.

Emma Paterson

Emma Paterson

Emma qualified from The Robert Gordon’s University in 2006. Beginning her career in the NHS and overseas in New Zealand prior to joining Aberdeen Physiotherapy in 2010. Her skills include acupuncture, Pilates and kinesiology taping. Fully competent in all musculoskeletal areas with a post graduate certificate in spinal manual therapy. Emma also has a keen interest in sports injuries and was a Lead Physiotherapist in the Roads Team at Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. She has completed courses in running and cycling injury rehab

Dana Norquay

Dana Norquay

Dana graduated from The Robert Gordon University in 2010.  Prior to this she completed an honours degree in Sport and Exercise Science. Since 2010, Dana has combined working in the NHS and private clinics. She has experience in sports physiotherapy and has worked for several rugby clubs in Aberdeenshire. Dana has an interest in the management of chronic pain and has completed training in this area.

Bernice Leitch

Bernice Leitch

Bernice began working as a receptionist at Aberdeen Physiotherapy in September 2021. She joined us with a wealth of experience gained working on reception in GP and Dental practices around the city.

Blair provides holiday cover for our reception team. He combines this with studying at Aberdeen University.

Getting Here

You can find us on Westburn Road at the traffic lights on the corner of Watson Street.

We are opposite Victoria Park and Cornhill Hospital. If you are travelling here by car, there is ample on street metered parking close to the practice on both Watson Street and Cornhill Road. If you are coming via bus, numbers 8 & 59 pass the practice and many alternative routes pass close by via Rosemount Place and Berryden Road.
