Overuse Injuries

Overuse injuries build up gradually from repetitive stress on muscles, joints or tendons. They’re common in both active people and those whose work or habits involve repetitive tasks. Early intervention is key to preventing long-term issues.

Common overuse conditions we treat include:

Often caused by overuse, sudden increases in activity or tight calf muscles. Pain is usually felt at the back of the heel or lower leg, especially during walking or running.

Pain under the heel, especially first thing in the morning.

Pain at the front of the knee, often made worse by stairs or sitting for too long.

Pain along the shin bone, common in runners or those increasing activity too quickly.
